Heather is Director, Family Office Services and based in our Toronto office. Heather has 20 years experience in the accounting field, including 10 years in the tax department at Ernst & Young where she was a Senior Manager. In 2008 she completed a law degree at the University of Ottawa. Prior to joining Waterstreet, she worked as an Articling Student and an Associate with a tax litigation boutique.
In addition to being a Chartered Accountant and lawyer, Heather is also a Certified Public Accountant (State of Illinois) and a Certified Financial Planner. She is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Ontario Bar Association Tax Law Executive and has completed the C.I.C.A. In-Depth Tax Course.
Heather currently volunteers as Treasurer of Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), has served on the Branksome Hall Alumni Executive and has been an active volunteer with Lawyers Feed the Hungry.
